Well this week has seemed sooooper long! The thing is, I don’t know why. We did all the normal things. Being in a tripla is normal by this point.
On Wednesday and Thursday we had divisions with the sisters in Tavira and it was really uplifting. We talked with lots of people and Sister Stegeman played the ukulele for me.
We also got to hold this really weird looking duck this week.
We were just walking around when this red headed duck just walked out of a house. The owner followed the duck out of the house and he asked if we wanted to hold it. Sure, let’s give it try. So we stuck out our arms and he just perched the duck on our arms. Man, was it heavy!.
We also had lunch with a member. She likes me because I took a lot of little portions of the food so it looked like a ate a whole bunch. It is a missionary trick that you learn.
The thing that I love the most about being in a tripla is that we all get along, so our conversations always turn so weird. . . and yet so funny. For example, Sister Conrad walked into a pole yesterday trying to learn how to play the harmonica. It was really funny in a painful sort of way.
And yes, we had a miracle this week. One part of the Missionary Handbook says that we should look for opportunities to serve. Unfortunately we have not had as many opportunities to help as I would have liked. But this week we actually found an old lady that let us into her house and let us clean it! It was amazing and I was just laughing the whole time because it was the first time in forever!!!
Then one of the best parts of the week is attending church with your companions and with the Branch. #HisDay
But yeah, that’s everything of note! Hope everything is going well with you.
Love ya buckets. Go forth and serve.
