That is because Sister Landbeck and I have been sick. The cold season is upon us! Sister Landbeck started it. Just some stuffy nose and feeling like crap. Then I started having a bit of a cough and then of course, as usual, I get it worse than she does. That is to be expected though since we spend 24/7 together.
I’m feeling a bit better. The stuffiness is gone but I’m still hacking up a lung… it’s a lot of fun…NOT!
On Thursday we decided to splurge and buy some street food. Bifanas are pork patties in their own special sauce on bread. It was a let-down though. They looked huge!!!!!! Lots of, lettuce, and sauce and stuff. But when we bit into the sandwich there was so little meat. What a pity. We’re not going to that food stand again.
We also took a little pause at this really cool place in our area on Sunday.
Because I am the new Sister Training Leader, my companion and I get to fly to Lisbon today to attend the Mission Council meeting tomorrow. At that meeting, all of the mission leaders get together. We discuss how we are doing the work and learn from each other’s successes. The Star Wars fans in the mission have dubbed it Jedi Council. The weather has been bad the last couple of days. Hopefully, there won’t be too much turbulence on the flight.
Have a great week everyone!
