Happy Birthday Sis. Neilsen!

Last week we went on an adventure.  In the past, the economy in Setubal has been much better.  Setubal used to be a big fishing port.  There was more industry and people were more affluent.  But with a slowing economy and fishing jobs consolidating to other ports, people have moved.  Some have even abandoned their homes because they could not keep them up.  A number of homes are still in good shape.  We visited one of those houses and then had sushi for lunch!  It was really really good! (Not as good as Sushi Tachi in Las Vegas though).

Today we went to Sesimbra with Lorenço aka the Portuguese Bilbo Baggins.  He is the member of the Ward that is a tour guide.

After our adventure last week we got back to work.  We had a lot of people set appointments with us.  The problem was that when we passed by, they were not there.  It is so frustrating.  But we will continue forward!

Sesimbra is a beautiful seaside town.  It is East of Setubal and South of Lisbon.  To get there from Setubal, you have to go through the Parque Natural da Arrabida. We had so much fun because we were celebrating Sis. Neilsen’s birthday!!  We enjoyed cake and sparkling apple cider.  It was a lot of fun. 🙂
That’s all I got this week.  Love Charlotte.
